US Olympic Museum Diamond Donor Program using the Forge Platform

See how the Forge platform was used to create an exclusive, interactive experience for the US Olympic Museum's (USOM) Diamond Donor Program. The museum’s facade has 10,000 unique satin anodized aluminum panels, which appear to be stretched taut like an elastic fabric over the building’s twisting frame. Since each diamond-shaped folded panel is different, it offered the USOM the ability for someone to adopt and sponsor a particular panel. The interactive portal also allows donors (and website visitors) to virtually view the panels and their digital inscription.

See how MG.aec and USOM came together to make Diamond Donor Program dream a reality! In this presentation attendees will learn:

  • How the project was conceived, brainstormed, and developed into a viable Autodesk Forge project.
  • How the building’s 10,000 unique façade panels were developed in Solidworks and came together seamlessly.
  • How to overcome the many challenges of creating an interactive online user portal.
  • How you can be part of the Diamond Donor Program for the USOM.
